This Privacy Policy explains how Ritual Sauna Club (“Ritual,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information about you when you visit our website, join our waitlist, create an account, book a visit, purchase a membership or other product, or otherwise use our services (collectively, the “Services”). Ritual Sauna Club is a sauna and cold plunge facility based in Denver, Colorado. Our Services are intended for adults 18 and older.

Information we collect

Information you provide

• Contact and account details — such as your name, email address, phone number, and communication preferences when you join the waitlist, create an account, or contact us.
• Bookings and visits — details about the reservations you make and the visits you attend.
• Waivers and safety information — when required for entry, you sign a liability waiver that includes an attestation that you are 18 or older. We may record health-related information you choose to share with our staff relevant to your safe use of the facility.
• Referrals — if you participate in a referral or waitlist program, we record the referral code used and who referred whom, to administer rewards.

Payment information

Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. We do not collect or store full payment card numbers on our own servers. Stripe handles your card details in accordance with its own privacy policy and applicable payment-industry standards. We retain limited records of your transactions (such as amounts, dates, and the last four digits or card brand) to operate and account for your purchases.

Information collected automatically

• Usage and device data — such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and interactions with our site, collected through cookies and similar technologies and our analytics provider.
• Attribution data— we use cookies to remember the marketing source (for example, a campaign link) and any referral code that brought you to us, so we can credit the right source. This “first-touch” attribution is stored once and not continuously updated.
• Authentication cookies — when you sign in, we set a secure, http-only session cookie so we can keep you logged in. We do not use it to track you across other websites.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies that are necessary for the site to function (such as sign-in sessions and fraud prevention), cookies that remember marketing attribution and referral codes, and analytics cookies that help us understand how the site is used. • To comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, and protect our rights, users, and the public.

How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described here:

• Service providers who process data on our behalf, under contract, including payment processing (Stripe), database and website hosting (Supabase and Vercel), site analytics (Vercel Analytics), transactional and marketing email delivery (Resend), and our waitlist tooling. These providers may process your information only to provide services to us.
• Legal and safety — when we believe disclosure is required by law, regulation, or legal process, or is necessary to protect the safety, rights, or property of Ritual, our members, staff, or the public.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

Your choices and rights

You can update your account information, adjust your communication preferences, and unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain uses. Colorado residents have rights under the Colorado Privacy Act, including the rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of their data, and to opt out of targeted advertising and the sale of personal data. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, and afterward as necessary to comply with our legal obligations (including tax, accounting, and liability-waiver record-keeping), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including handling payment card data only through our PCI-compliant payment processor. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy

Our Services are intended for adults 18 and older and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
